Realta Labs ("we," "our," or "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website hosted via HubSpot and our Realta Labs App ("App") available on Apple's App Store.

a. Personal Information

  • Name, email address, phone number, and clinic details.

  • Patient information, including name, contact details, and relevant medical details for orthotic prescriptions (if provided by the clinic).

b. 3D Scan and Orthotic Data (TrueDepth API)

  • Images and 3D scans of patients’ feet submitted for assessment and prescription processing.

  • Patient data associated with these scans, including prescription notes and measurements.

  • The App uses the TrueDepth API to collect 3D foot scans solely to customise insoles. No facial recognition or unrelated personal data is collected.

c. Usage and Device Information

  • Log data, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and app usage statistics.

  • Device identifiers such as mobile device ID, operating system version, and connection details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfil orthotic orders.

  • Manage and store patient data securely.

  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.

  • Improve and optimise the App’s functionality and security.

  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

3. How We Share Your Information

  • We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

  • Service Providers: We may engage third-party providers to assist in processing orders, hosting data, or providing technical support.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction.

  • The 3D scan and shoe size may be shared with manufacturing partners strictly for product customisation.

  • Data is stored securely on encrypted servers, including on the user’s phone and linked to an Amazon S3 Bucket.

  • Industry-standard security measures are in place to protect against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

  • No method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow best practices.

  • You can access, update, or delete your personal data by contacting us here

  • You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

  • You can request account and data deletion, and clients can request deletion of scan data at any time.

6. Data Retention

  • We retain personal and patient data only as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations.

  • Once no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Cookies and Analytics

  • Our website uses cookies to enhance user experience and for analytics.

  • Google Analytics helps us understand website interactions; this data is anonymous.

  • You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings.

8. International Data Transfers

  • We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK data protection laws.
